How much does a good stairlift cost?

Stairlifts have a range when it comes to the cost. Straight stairlifts are easier to engineer and typically have a cost range of $3,400 to $6,500. Curved stairlifts will vary more based on the landings needing to be addressed as well as the turns. These have a cost range of $8,000 to $15,000.

Can you finance a stairlift?

Yes, our stairlifts can be financed, and AABA Family Medical offers financing through Care Credit.

How does a stairlift work?

Stairlifts work by following a guide rail that is mounted on the stairway. The stairlift unit rides this rail and receives power through the rail. The stairlift also features a battery backup so that it can be used several times during a power outage. The user rides on a chair and is buckled into the chair for added safety.

How are stairlifts fitted?

A stairlift needs to be measured to properly fit the rail and chair. Our team will take proper measurements, whether a straight stairway or a curved stairway, so that the rail can be made specifically to fit your stairs. We will then install this custom rail and fit the chair to the rail, making sure that the entire unit operates as it should.
